Prince Louis never misses an opportunity to charm royal fans at public events with his cheeky personality.
The adorable six-year-old recently attended the annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey with his siblings, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine, an event organised by their mother.
It's always a delight for royal fans when the three Wales children join their parents at official functions, a rare occurrence as William and Kate aim to provide their children with as normal a childhood as possible.
Louis' presence at the carol service also signified a break from a royal tradition - not his first time being noticed doing so, OK! reports.
Young male royals are usually seen in shorts considered more suitable for their age, but for the second consecutive year, Louis opted for full-length trousers for the festive occasion.
Dressed in a complete suit - a first for him at an official event - Louis matched perfectly with his older brother George and father William, all wearing bright red ties that complemented Kate's festive coat.
According to Hello Magazine, it's quite uncommon for a royal child to wear a full suit before the age of seven. George wore one for the first time at that age when he attended the Euro 2020 final in London, meaning Louis has been permitted to do so a whole year earlier than his big brother.

Etiquette expert William Hanson shared with Hello: "Today, young boys usually transition into trousers around age seven. Prince George is always seen in shorts because upper-class and upper-middle-class parents believe that little boys should look like little boys, and so try to keep their offspring looking as cute and innocent for as long as possible."
He also shed light on how British social class influences children's clothing: "It's one of the many silent class indicators we have in Britain. Trousers on young boys is considered a tad suburban and lower market."
Yet defying expectations, at the Christmas carol service in 2023, Prince Louis was observed wearing full-length trousers. Stepping away from a formal suit, the young royal chose a chic double-breasted coat with a patterned shirt beneath, suggesting that his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton are gradually adapting him to a smartly-dressed appearance.
The cold December weather justifies why Kate and William would relax the traditional fashion rule for their son - warmth clearly comes above etiquette for these pragmatic parents. Known for their practical approach to parenting, the Prince and Princess of Wales' decision to prioritise comfort is another sign of their commitment to putting their children's needs first.
