Princess Beatrice's Christmas coat had a sweet nod to King Charles' work

17 hours ago 2

Princess Beatrice was spotted among the royals celebrating Christmas at Sandringham, their Norfolk residence. She was joined by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, stepson Wolfie and baby daughter Sienna.

While Sienna remained at Sandringham due to her tender age, the rest of the family were seen heading to the Christmas Day service at the estate's church with the King and Queen, and the Prince and Princess of Wales. It was a surprise to see Beatrice at the royal Christmas as it was initially believed she planned to spend the holidays abroad with her in-laws.

However, it is speculated that the pregnant princess was advised against travelling. Beatrice's outfit held a special significance as she chose a stylish tan coat from the Net-a-Porter for The King's Foundation collection.

She paired the coat with a simple black dress and knee-high boots, and accessorised with black gloves, a green Alice band, and gold earrings. Her choice of a green hair accessory matched Queen Camilla and Princess Kate's 'festive green' theme during the Royal Family's Christmas Day walk.

Just over a month ago, Beatrice visited The King's Foundation's Future Textiles exhibition at the Garrison Chapel, where the Modern Artisan collection, created in partnership with luxury retailer Net-a-Porter, was showcased, reports the Mirror.

King Charles launched the Future Textiles project in 2014, with the aim of bridging the skills gap in the UK fashion and textiles industry through education and training. Over the last ten years, the King's Foundation has reported that the programme has helped over 7,000 individuals and now operates across various locations, including Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire, and Trinity Buoy Wharf in London.

The Royal Family in Scotland

While Princess Beatrice joined her Royal family for Christmas, her sister, Princess Eugenie, and their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, were noticeably missing from the Sandringham festivities.
