Questions We Have After Watching the Summer House Season 9 Trailer

2 days ago 8

The first trailer for Season 9 of Summer House dropped on Wednesday, December 18. Fans have been waiting with bated breath for the new season after Season 8 ended with a volatile two-part reunion. The three-minute teaser gave us several hints about the new season, which may be even more dramatic than last year. In honor of Summer House returning, let’s unpack the trailer together.

Who are the new cast members on Season 9 of Summer House?

Two new cast members joined the cast for Season 9. Real estate broker Imrul Hassan and model Lexi Wood will share a house with the returning cast members this season. According to Lexi’s Bravo Bio, she is a “self-proclaimed Lover Girl” who “loves to spend nights at NYC clubs with her mom and sister.” Imrul’s Bio describes him as a “New York City motorcycle-riding real estate broker and full-time party boy.”

The trailer revealed a bit about the newbies, including which of the current cast members they butted heads with in the Hamptons. The first look teased that Lexi wants to be exclusive with Jesse Solomon, but he can’t stop flirting with Ciara Miller. The flirtatious exchange results in Lexi saying she doesn’t trust Ciara. Yikes.

Did Carl cheat on Lindsay?

Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard ended their engagement last season after a summer of constant fighting. Fans were surprised when both Carl and Lindsay returned for Season 9 and agreed to live in a house together. I can’t think of something more awkward than spending an entire summer with your ex-fiance but go off, I guess. The two moved on from their relationship, but it appears there is still some lingering resentment. In the teaser trailer, we see Lindsay yelling at Carl for talking to another woman while they were still together.

“You’re a f*cking fraud and now I’m adding cheater to your f*cking resume,” she says in one clip.

Naturally, we have some questions. Carl appears to deny the claim in the trailer, saying he hasn’t had sex in a year, but Lindsay seems convinced there was infidelity towards the end of the relationship. Also, she’s pregnant with a new man’s kid. I guess we’ll have to wait and find out.

Is everything ok with Paige and Craig on Season 9 of Summer House?

The trailer teased some tension between Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover, who have been dating since the fall of 2021. In previous seasons, the couple has fought about where they want to live in the future. Craig’s life is in Charleston, South Carolina, whereas Paige’s work and family are in New York. In the trailer, we see Craig tell Paige she “can’t choose work all the time,” which upsets the Bravo star. She responds by saying, “Should I apologize for being strong and independent?” Yikes. In the next clip, we see Paige crying in bed while discussing a potential breakup with Craig.

We just learned these two did officially pull the plug on their relationship and this is probably the right move for both of them.

How does Carl react to Lindsay’s pregnancy on Summer House?

In July 2024, Lindsay revealed she was expecting in an Instagram Post. The 38-year-old shared it was difficult to hide her pregnancy, telling fans she feels like “a weight has been lifted” since the news broke. She ended the post by thanking fans for their “sweet comments, love, and support.”

Viewers, of course, wondered how Carl felt about his former fiancée starting a family. In the trailer, we see Lindsay show the girls her sonogram, but Carl is not around. I’m dying to see how this all plays out on screen. I have so many questions. Is he upset she moved on so fast? Is he relieved that he didn’t derail her plans to start a family? I need answers!

Why is Tom Schwartz on Summer House?

My final question, and perhaps the most pressing question after watching the trailer is… WHY IS TOM SCHWARTZ THERE? The three-minute clip ends with Schwartz (in a sleep mask) telling Paige, Ciara, and Amanda Batula that they need to cherish their time together. LOL. I guess he’s like the ghost of Bravo Future telling them to enjoy it while it lasts because the network may cancel their show. It’s so silly, but I’m kind of here for it.

Season 9 of Summer House premieres on Wednesday, February 12 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
