RADIO 1 DJ Arielle Free reveals that she was a part of the wizarding world as she recreates former Harry Potter role for Halloween.
The Scottish DJ revealed that she featured in the hit franchise as one of the infamous Beauxbatons and admitted it was her ‘first ever job’ when she moved to London.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram to post a throwback pic of herself in the third film Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.
Beauxbatons Academy of Magic was a French magic school in the fictional universe of Harry Potter created by the British author J. K. Rowling.
The students arrive at Hogwarts dancing in formation where Arielle can be seen alongside giant head teacher Olympe Maxime, played by comedy actress Frances de la Tour.
In another pic Arielle showed followers her Halloween costume dressed up in the iconic blue Beauxbaton uniform.

The flame-haired Scot captioned the post: “There was only one option for Halloween this year…dress up as myself as one of the Beauxbatons from Harry Potter.
“Yes that’s me in actual Goblet of Fire.
“My first ever job when I moved to London.”
The DJ went on to reveal that although she crashed the audition she still managed to get on set alongside 'the greatest actors in British filming history' and it's even where she met her future sister-in-law.
“I crashed the audition (as I was a massive Potter head) got the part, filmed for over a year, got to be on set with the greatest actors in British filming history AND also met my future husbands sister! We wouldn’t know I’d be her future sister in law until over ten years later (and yes we do mention it every family get together),” she penned.
Fans took to the comments to express their excitement over the revelation, one user commented: “Omg you were in Harry Potter!!!!! That’s amazing!!!!!! So jealous of child you and adult you with that cracking story.”
“Obviously going to watch it for the 367th time just so I can spot you,” penned another.
“Na pack that In immediately!!!!!!!! This is actually iconic I can’t,” added a third.

“Mate, not my position to announce this, especially four days early… but… CONGRATULATIONS YOU’VE WON HALLOWEEN 2024,” chimed a fourth.
Previously speaking about her time on the film, Arielle said: “I was such a huge Harry Potter fan, I basically ignored what I was told, gatecrashed the audition, got the job and had to defer my course for a year. It was amazing though and I’m so glad I did it, and some of my fellow Beauxbatons are still best friends to this day.”
The Radio 1 DJ has since conjured up a magical career from Harry Potter to become one of the country’s best radio hosst.
Arielle joined the BBC in 2019, but was suspended last August for a week – after her on-air bust up with Charlie Hedges.
This summer it was revealed that she would be stepping down with her replacement for her Radio 1 Early Breakfast slot filled by Dean McCullough.
Arielle now hosts a whole new dance show on the channel on Thursday nights.
Things have only gotten better for Arielle as back in July she landed a massive new gig named as one of Swedish Hose Mafia's supporting acts for their six-week residency at Ibiza's Ushuaia club.
Back in April the radio star also married her long-term boyfriend George Pritchard in a stunning Ibiza wedding.
Arielle was joined by Radio 1 co-star Vick Hope and her international DJ and musician husband Calvin Harris for the intimate ceremony.
