Reading and Leeds Festival have revealed 40 acts from the line-up, including the headliners.
Last year saw the likes of Fred again... Blink-182, Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon, Catfish and The Bottlemen and Lana Del Rey headline the iconic events. But in true fashion, bosses behind the events at Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds have come back with a stellar line-up for 2025.
The news comes just one day before pre-sale tickets go on sale for the weekend which will see revellers flock to both location between August 21 and August 24. Now, four "monumental" headliners have been confirmed across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with around 240,000 music lovers descending onto the sites.
Fans can expect to see none other than Chappell Roan headlining on Friday during a UK festival exclusive alongside Hozier, with Bring Me The Horizon taking to the stage on Saturday as a UK exclusive. Elsewhere, Travis Scott will close the festival on Sunday, also as a UK festival exclusive. But fans can expect much more.
This year, the likes of AJ Tracey, Becky Hill, Trippie Redd, Enter Shikari, The Kooks, Rudim3ntal, Lancey Foux, Royel Otis, Sea Girls, Bloc Party, Soft Play, The Dare, Mannequin Pussy, DJ Ez and many more. It's expected that bosses at Festival Republic who run both Reading and Leeds are sitting on "hundreds more names to announce."
The weekend, which is one of the biggest in the music industry has been a huge platform for musicians, with many returning to headline the event. While it's not known who will play on The Chevron Stage this year, fans can expect a performance like no other with thousands LED lights hanging above the stage which attracts a crowd of 40,000.
Speaking about their upcoming set, Oli Sykes of Sheffield's Bring Me The Horizon said: "We are beyond excited to be returning to Reading & Leeds for our first fully fledged headline slot. We are going to bring hands down the greatest show of our careers. It's going to be our only UK performance next year and the final European show of the NEX GEN campaign before the band take time away, so if you want to see BMTH next year, this truly is your only chance. Can't wait."
Meanwhile, Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic commented: "Right now, we're witnessing an exciting wave of inspiring voices breaking through in pop culture, and this line-up captures that energy perfectly. This is one of the youngest average ages for headliners in years, and that's very exciting in itself. We are delighted to welcome Chappell Roan's debut, an inspiring new pop star poised to define a generation, sitting alongside one of our favourite modern songwriters, Hozier.
"We are also proud to welcome back Bring Me The Horizon, a band who have grown with us over the years to become the UK's biggest alternative act. Add to that the massive European exclusive appearance of Travis Scott and an unrivalled selection of dance music's biggest names, and you've got something truly special. It will be a genuine privilege to witness these moments, from iconic headliners to extraordinary emerging artists alike. Bringing together these worlds and delivering a standout weekend every summer is ultimately what makes Reading & Leeds the UK's biggest, best and most unmissable music festival."

Reading and Leeds have a cornerstone of the UK's music scene, has been the backdrop for some of the most memorable moments in worldwide music over the past ten years. Stormzy's electrifying 2018 performance was a game-changer for grime, Billie Eilish's 2019 set confirmed her status as a generational icon, and Arctic Monkeys' triumphant comeback in 2022 enthralled both long-time fans and newcomers.
Dave's unforgettable interaction with the crowd during 'Thiago Silva' in 2019 highlighted the festival's unique bond between performers and their audience, while Liam Gallagher hinted at an Oasis reunion during his Reading set this summer. This blend of nurturing artistic growth and crafting culturally significant moments has cemented Reading & Leeds' reputation as more than just a music festival - it's a crucial pulse that continues to shape and celebrate the international music scene.
Consistently pushing boundaries, Reading & Leeds bagged The Innovation Award at the UK Festival Awards 2024 for the groundbreaking Chevron Stage. Redefining what's possible for an open-air venue of this magnitude with unprecedented immersive lighting and stage design, The Chevron Stage heralds a new chapter for Reading & Leeds.
