Rebekah Vardy hit out at "smug" Coleen Rooney in a thinly-veiled comment ahead of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!'s finale.
Odds on Coleen to win the ITV show have fallen to 9/4 since the departures of former professional boxer Barry McGuigan and Love Island star Maura Higgins on Thursday.
Ahead of Sunday's finale, Rebekah wrote in her newspaper column: "A few people looked shocked to be in the final that's for sure but someone definitely looked a bit smug and not surprised, hmm... Well, looking forward to tonight's show to see who ends up in the final."
The piece was published on Wednesday, before the shock double eviction. Now, Coleen, 38, looks set to take on the legendary Celebrity Cyclone trial, which typically happens before the final.

At the start of the series, Rebekah jetted off on a glamorous holiday with footballer husband Jamie, and the 42-year-old media personality was quick to state she thought it was hilarious" her rival was about to slum it in the jungle at the same time.
The legendary Cyclone trial has been a goalpost many stars have tried to reach for many years. When this series kicked off last month, the latest edition of the challenge appeared to be no different, The Sun reports.
But presenting I'm a Celebrity: Unpacked, Joel Dommett said in the build-up to the Celebrity Cyclone, this year's remaining campmates will go head-to-head for the chance to win immunity from the next two vote-offs, guaranteeing them the chance to take part in the trial.
The comedian and TV host said: "Over the next two days, the campmates will be competing for this,' before holding up an enormous ticket that says Ticket To The Cyclone. Whoever wins this will be safe from the next two vote offs and will be guaranteed a place in the trial everyone wants to do. Celebrity Cyclone."
