Christina Hall posted one photo with a friend, who she classes as a brother, and the Internet has gone wild. As she’s newly-single, fans thought she’d moved on from estranged husband, Josh Hall.

Months ago, it was announced Christina Haack (Hall) had separated from ex, Josh Hall. She has since posted a close photo with a friend, Jared Merrell, who she calls her “brother from another mother”.

Christina Hall posted a photo with her arm around a friend, Jared Merrell. He is married to a woman called Maris, who he shares four children with, and is considered a friend to the HGTV star.

When the Christina On The Coast star wished him a happy birthday, fans jumped to conclusions and thought the newly-single star had a new romantic man in her life – which is not the case.

She wrote, “Happy Birthday to my brother from another mother. @jaredjstar25 Thank you for ALWAYS being such a great friend. Love you and your family so much. So happy to be celebrating you!”

Christina split from her ex and third husband, Josh Hall, three months ago. She’s currently going through divorce from him, while she films episodes with her former ex, Tarek El Moussa, and his wife Heather.

Fans joked how they thought Merrell was her new boyfriend, but many realized he’s just her family friend.

The rumors were heightened when he commented, “😍😍Love youuuu,” to which Christina replied, “love you mostest.” One fan chimed in, “Thought this was husband number 4 for a second there 😂.”

Another commenter wrote, “Lmao! I first thought she was introducing us to a new boyfriend I was like damn girl slow down!! 😂” A fellow fan speculated, “Is he your next husband?”

Merrell is the owner of JStar Auto Group, a pre-owned car dealership located in Anaheim, California, as per his Instagram bio. He also posted a photo of his birthday cake, which was celebrated over a weekend.
