James Kennedy‘s alleged “temper” was reportedly a concern for those close to his girlfriend, Ally Lewber as the DJ is reportedly trying to win back Ally.

Days after the 32-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum’s domestic violence arrest, and as he continues to DJ around the country, a series of insiders have come forward, making claims about James’ past behavior and his “massive yelling fights” with Ally, 28.

First, a new report by Us Weekly states James is currently trying to win back all that he has lost due to his arrest and that includes his girlfriend Ally who was photographed moving out of his home last week.

“James is trying to win everything back including [girlfriend] Ally [Lewber],” a source told the outlet. “If he doesn’t stay sober, he knows he has a lot to lose.”

The insider adds that Ally is however maintaining her distance for the time being while James is apparently “staying sober and getting treatment. He’s taking it [very] seriously.”

“Ally is staying away until he gets help and she is leaning on friends and family.” adds the source. “People are rallying around her. She has a lot of support.”

Meanwhile, a separate report sheds light on James’ temper and history of fights with Ally.

“His temper has always been an issue,” a source revealed to the New York Post, noting their fears had lessened over time as they grew convinced that Ally was “good for James.”

Meanwhile, as a second insider said his recent arrest was “not normal behavior for him,” a third claimed they’d seen James and Ally engaged in “massive yelling fights” — but insisted they were never physical.

“[He] calmed down on his drinking, which really helped,” the source explained.

The insider went on to claim that Ally “stands up for herself” against James and “isn’t passive like [Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss],” to whom James was previously engaged.

James “is a good guy and has tried to change,” they added.

During an interview with The Post earlier this month prior to James’ arrest, Ally declared that they were “better than ever.”

“We’ve been the best that we’ve ever been. And I think it probably has to do with the fact that we haven’t been filming in a while,” she said.

She also commented on James’ recent exit from the Pump Rules cast, saying, “I think it’ll be nice to just feel like we have some privacy and, like, [we] can actually focus on us.”

In more James news,

Vanderpump Rules season 12 will begin filming with an all-new cast in early 2025.
