RHOP's Mia Thornton on Why She and Inc Split, Karen Huger's Guilty Verdict, and Gordon's Paternity "Surprise," Plus Wanting More Kids, Her "Lies," Ashley Darby's Kiss With Jacqueline, and Her "Shady" Balloons

Mia Thornton addressed her recent split from boyfriend Inc and Karen Huger‘s guilty verdict while appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday night.

As she also discussed the “surprising” moment when estranged husband Gordon Thornton, 72, brought up their son’s paternity, her desire for more kids, and Ashley Darby‘s kiss with Jacqueline Blake, 40, the 40-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac star admitted that she always believed Karen, 61, was guilty of DUI.

“We’re not [together]. Currently,” Mia confirmed of her and Inc on the January 26 episode of WWHL.

She then explained what led to the split.

“Inc has worked really, really hard for his reputation and his career. He’s 20 years in as a syndicated radio personality and he feels as though this platform … It doesn’t align with his brand [and] I respect that,” she revealed. “Now, he’s my best friend and he will forever be my best friend … Are we dating? No. It has bridged a gap between us two and that’s fine.”

“To his defense,” Mia continued, “I need to get a divorce first. So we’re gonna work on that. We’re gonna focus on G, we’re gonna focus on the kids and then Inc, he’s not going anywhere. What’s meant to be is forever.”

Moving onto Karen, Mia said she “always knew she was guilty.”

“I did. But I am sad that it has rolled out the way that it has. It’s very very sad. I really feel like if she would have just owned up to what she did, then we wouldn’t all know like … “

According to Mia, she’s “very happy” that Karen entered rehab because she wants “her to get the help that she needs.”

As for Karen’s future on the show, Mia said she’d love for her to return for season 10.

“I wouldn’t give her a hard time, I actually wanted her to be transparent and tell us what she was going through so we could be there for her,” she noted.

Then, when Gordon’s paternity test was mentioned, Mia insisted that it came as a surprise to her.

“It really really was because … I had never come to these ladies and shared with them that I questioned the paternity of my child. Never. That’s their father,” she stated. “For me, I feel like it’s none of their business. I would have never said, ‘Hey guys, I don’t know who my kid’s father is.’ It’s not the case.”

“[And] I will say that [Ray Huger] repeating it and bringing it back to Karen… I’m sorry to say it but Tampax much? I just feel like Ray is too old to be coming back and sharing tea,” she added. “That was man chat. It kind of broke the guy code by coming back and telling us wives.”

Regarding her confusing behavior surrounding the topic, Mia explained that she did not trust Gordon’s test.

“That’s why I feel like, I had been asking Gordon to do a formal test. I don’t know why he went behind our back but I do feel like this could’ve been squashed a long time ago if everybody would just be mature adults,” she reasoned.

As she and Gordon navigate their co-parenting relationship, Mia confessed to wanting more children in the future.

“I would love to have another child. I don’t know with who,” she said.

Mia then clapped back at Ashley, 36, for suggesting her and Inc’s split was fake, saying, “Ashley needs to worry about her own Jack Harlow and all the other ones she’s doing,” and reacted to Karen insinuating that Wendy Osefo, 40, was not trustworthy.

“I love Wendy and I trust her so I don’t know if that was really tea … I don’t know, that was weird.”

Also on the live broadcast, Andy Cohen, 56, questioned Mia about the “lies” she allegedly told on the show, asking her what was true and what was false, starting with her claim of having met Gordon at a five-star restaurant that did not have stripper poles.

“It did not have stripper poles. It didn’t. I don’t even know what to do with a pole,” she shared.

Mia then denied lying about her split from Inc and admitted to “maybe” being jealous of Ashley and Jacqueline’s kiss.

“Listen Jacqueline is mine okay?” she asked. “Jacqueline’s my best friend and that’s the end of the story. She doesn’t have to get permission but I do want to know who she’s kissing. She can kiss whoever she wants to kiss. She needs to kiss a prince but I will say that I at least want to know what’s going on. I’m her best friend. I need to know prior.”

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Mia was asked how she felt about Karen calling Jacqueline her puppet, and if Jacqueline went too far with the eight balloons that stood for Karen’s citations.

“I don’t think Jacqueline is a puppet at all. I think that Jacqueline is amazing and Jacqueline really is her own person, and I feel like if you guys stay tuned, you’ll see more of Jacqueline. She’s amazing. She’s beautiful. She’s brilliant. She has a few degrees so there’s a lot of runnings for her and there’s a lot of opportunity for her that I would love for you guys to see,” Mia replied.

As for the balloons, Mia denied they were “too much” before admitting it was a bit “shady.”

“She came with peace. We want to release the negative energy and I just feel like Karen needed some releasing. I think that she was actually coming with love. Jacqueline loves Karen and I can say that. It was shady but guess what? Welcome to [RHOP]. It was both. It was shady love,” she explained.

The Real Housewives of Potomac season nine airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
