Music legend Rihanna made a rare appearance in court to support her partner A$AP Rocky.
The Fenty make-up mogul, who shares two children with her longterm partner, appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom on Wednesday January 29 to watch the trial of Rocky - real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers. The rapper is accused of firing a gun at former collaborator ASAP Relli (real name Terell Ephron) near a Hollywood hotel in 2021.
Mayers is charged with two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and Rihanna came to the courthouse in LA as the trial continued.
Rihanna, 36, slipped into court for a third day about 30 minutes into the testimony and sat next to Rocky’s mother after coming in through a public entrance. After the lunch break, she entered the courtroom together with Rocky for the first time. She left separately and climbed into an SUV outside the courthouse, saying “I'm good, thank you” when a reporter asked how she was holding up. The mum of two had been brought in secretly on her two previous visits.

A photo was shown of scrapes that had torn the skin on his knuckles. He did not seek medical attention until two days later in New York.
If Mayers is convicted, he could be facing up to 24 years in prison. Speaking of Rihanna's arrival, a source recently claimed: "Rihanna arrived around 9:49am in a blacked-out SUV and met with two security guards who tried to throw everyone off and went down a side passageway out of the court."
They added to The US Sun: "They jumped in her car in the underground parking lot, and she snuck into the court in a secret elevator and never walked the main corridor."
Rocky and Rihanna have two sons together: two-year-old RZA Athelston Mayers and one-year-old Riot Rose Mayers. Rocky, who is from New York City, confirmed that he and Rihanna were in a relationship in May 2021.
