Robbie Williams reportedly reached out to Liam Payne's family members after the singer's death.
Dozens of famous faces gathered on Wednesday (November 20) to bid farewell to Liam, who was laid to rest in the Home Counties. The One Direction singer's nearest and dearest came together to grieve the 31-year-old at his funeral after he fell from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16.

Among those in attendance was Liam's former One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik as well as lots of other stars. Cheryl, Liam's ex, also attended the funeral to say a final goodbye to the singer.
Her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were there to pay their respects to Liam, as well as James Corden, Rochelle and Marvin Humes, Simon Cowell, Robbie Keane, Damian Hurley, and of course, Liam's girlfriend Kate Cassidy. However, there were also some familiar faces who weren't able to make it.
Robbie Williams and Liam's former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger reportedly got in touch with Liam's family after they were unable to attend the service on Wednesday, reports the Mirror. Former Take That singer Robbie, 50, paid a heartfelt tribute to Liam following the news of his death on October 16.
At the time, Robbie wrote: "You brought so much joy, light, and laughter to the lives of those that truly knew you. I will 'miss you' my friend and carry you in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with your family."
Meanwhile, Nicole, 46, wrote: "Dear Liam, I will forever cherish and treasure the time we shared together, from fifteen years ago when One Direction was born, right up until just a few weeks ago."
According to The Sun, both Robbie and Nicole were among a series of 'many' who reached out to Liam's heartbroken family with words of support as their schedules stopped them from attending the funeral. The publication said the are "understood to have been in contact with his family and sent flowers".
A handful of local people and fans gathered outside the church to pay their final respects to Payne, who died on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
Fans around the world held vigils in his memory after his death, and a shrine to him was created in his home city of Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
After the funeral, a GoFundMe page was set up in Liam's name to "continue Liam's legacy" by helping to build a new Children's Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He died of multiple traumas and "internal and external haemorrhage", a post-mortem examination report said.
