British musician Jamie Morrison, who is best known as the drummer for Stereophonics and 86TVs, has issued a statement to his fans after being rushed to hospital earlier this week.
"HEALTH IS WEALTH," Morrison, 41, wrote on Instagram this morning alongside a photo of himself posing with a peace sign in a hospital bed, and a lengthy missive that also saw him apologise to fans of 86TVs.
"It's been the craziest couple of days of my life, and certainly not the crazy I am used to," Morrison, who was forced to pull out of a show at Nottingham's Rescue Rooms minutes before he was set to take the stage, wrote.

"I want to apologise to anyone who bought tickets, I will make this up to you in the ferocity of my vibrations when we return," his statement continued.
"I promise the only reason I am currently not in my 'happy place' with you all is because the doctor's [sic] were adamant I am a maniac for even considering this to be an option."
After being admitted to hospital on Monday (Tuesday in Australia), Morrison was advised by doctors not to perform. It meant 86TVs were forced to cancel their remaining tour dates, which saw them issue an emotional statement apologising to fans.

He did not disclose any specific information about his episode, but he did say he is expected to recovery wholly.
"It's been a humbling experience folks, I am going to make a full recovery and will spend this time being grateful and acknowledging how lucky I am to be in the same orbit as all of the people I mentioned above," Morrison wrote.
"Health comes first, but I do feel a sense of responsibility to make this up to you, so when I am able, I will. It will be made up in positive energy, performance and pure vibes."
