Rosé says she’s “very serious” about relationship amid rumors she’s dating Evan Mock.

“I’m like, more of a relationship-er, which is why people say ‘Rosie, you’re still so young’ – Like, I’m very serious about dating,” she told i-D in an article posted on Nov. 18, 2024.

However, when the interviewer pressed her about the details of how K-pop idols date, Rosé was quick to shut it down. Asked if she used dating apps, she laughed and responded, “No comment,” adding, “You know what, I’m getting into too much detail.”

As for her new music, Rosé’s latest album Rosie features the track “Apt.,” which is all about drinking games—and potentially more. When asked if it was hard to release a song with such a playful topic, especially with the expectations of K-pop idols, she explained, “I think drinking is not bad. It’s more like… dating.”

While fans have speculated about the inspiration behind the tracks on Rosie, new dating rumors began swirling after Evan, the lead actor in Rosé’s “Toxic Till the End” music video, was seen helping her out of a car during what some believed was a cozy “date night.” A few days later, DeuxMoi added fuel to the fire, claiming that an anonymous source confirmed Evan is her “boyfriend.”

This isn’t the first time Rosé has opened up about her love life. Earlier in November 2024, she spoke candidly to Paper Magazine about being in a “few relationships” in the past few years.

She explained, “I think I’m grateful enough to have gone through a few relationships, you know, like a normal girl in her 20s. I do want people to understand that I’m not much different from your average girlfriend, or 23-year-old girl.”

Rosé went on to reflect on how her 20s have shaped her music, saying, “It’s when you’re very vulnerable and confused, excited and angry about life. That’s what I wanted to sing about.”

ICYMI, Rosé’s first full-length solo album, rosie, also dropped December 6 and has been giving us all the feels with its raw themes of love and heartbreak. Naturally, fans are in detective mode, linking every lyric to her mysterious “toxic” ex. From wild theories about Jaden Smith to whispers of fellow K-pop stars, BLINKs are desperate for answers.
