Royal fans spot blunder in Meghan Markle's new Instagram video as Netflix trailer drops

As the trailer drops for Meghan Markle's new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, eagle-eyed fans have picked up on a blink and you'll miss it detail which offers a little behind the scenes insight

To the surprise of fans, Meghan Markle has kicked off 2025 with a bombshell return to Instagram. And eagle-eyed followers have picked up on a telling blunder from her very first video reel.

The clip in question, which was uploaded yesterday (January 1), shows the barefoot, white-clad Duchess of Sussex running along an overcast beach before carving '2025' in the wet sand using her finger. It ends with her laughing to the camera, wielded, it's believed, by her husband, Prince Harry.

The breezy video has a carefree, relaxed feel, more akin to a personal home video than the more formal footage usually expected from members of the Royal family. However, it would appear that the former Suits star may have tried a few takes before finding the perfect one.

Indeed, as noted by a number of social media users, while running in the video, Meghan goes past another '2025' written in the sand - suggesting there had been multiple attempts.

This comes as Meghan releases the trailer for her upcoming cooking show for Netflix, With Love, Meghan, set to air on January 15. Announcing the release date via Instagram, Meghan wrote: "I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support - and fun! As ever, Meghan."

A trailer for the new show shows Meghan cooking and entertaining in her breathtaking Californian home alongside pals such as Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, and Alice Waters. According to a teaser for the series: "This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.

"Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same."

Speaking in the clip, which sees her picking fresh produce and collecting honey, Meghan tells viewers: "I have always loved taking something ordinary and elevating it. Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them." She continued: "I am going to share some little tips and tricks and how you can incorporate these practices everyday. This is about connecting with friends, making new friends and just learning. We are not in the pursuit of perfection, we are in the pursuit of joy."
