An anonymous source is alleging that infidelity may have played a role in Chad “Ochocino” Johnson and his former fiancée Sharelle Rosado’s split. Despite that explosive allegation, the former NFL athlete is insisting that he’s still getting married this February—with or without Rosado.

In an exclusive interview with The Neighborhood Talk published on Nov. 20, an anonymous source revealed details about the alleged cause of the breakup between Rosado and Johnson. According to the insider, the split may have been triggered by an incident in which Rosado reportedly came home to find Johnson having sex with another woman in bed.

The outlet also noted that this isn’t the first time Chad Johnson has faced allegations of infidelity. Rumors have circulated that he was involved with several women, some of whom Rosado claimed to have known personally.

These eyebrow-raising allegations surfaced just a month after Rosado revealed that she and the Nightcap podcast host had parted ways. The couple, who got engaged in 2023, welcomed their daughter, Serenity, in 2022, PEOPLE  noted.

“Chad and I are no longer together, please stop tagging us. He is a free man ladies,” Rosado penned on Oct. 28.

At the time, the internet was abuzz with speculation about the former couple, with some oddly expressing excitement that Johnson was back on the market.

One user even took to the comments section of The Neighborhood Talk, stating that she would love to slide into Johnson’s DMs now that he was single.

Rosado boldly replied to the user;

“LOL, hope you don’t catch nothing, sis.”

She also recently clapped back at a comment alleging that her breakup was a publicity stunt.

“I don’t need any clout!” responded Rosado. “I’m a producer on my own show, and I’m not looking for s***!!!”

Chad Johnson Is Determined To Walk Down The Aisle, Says He’ll Wed In February

During the Nov. 11 episode of Nightcap, Johnson opened up about his split with Rosado, revealing his plans to walk down the aisle again in 2025. Despite the end of his relationship, the former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver stated that it was “too late” to cancel his upcoming wedding, which is scheduled for February 2025.

“You still got your suit for the wedding?” Johnson asked his co-host, Shannon Sharpe. “I do,” Sharpe responded.

“Hey, s–t looking grim… I know one thing, I’m getting married come February, you hear me,” Johnson replied. “I’m getting married in February. I don’t know who the f–k it’s going to be, but when that God damn day come, I’m walking down the aisle with somebody“… Bro, I’m 46 years old, man, I ain’t got any time to be playing. What are you trying to do? Whoever it’s going to be, I’m walking down that mother f–king aisle in February.”

Johnson shared that he had already put down a deposit for several high-profile performers at his wedding. “I’m having an open bar, I got three people performing,” he said, mentioning that Brian McKnight, Anthony Hamilton, and John Legend were all set to perform.

“It’s too late now,” he added with a shrug.

That’s when an upset Sharpe jumped in to object.

“Well, I ain’t going. If it ain’t my niece, I ain’t going,” Sharpe said, referring to Rosado.

Johnson claimed that he wasn’t responsible for the split.

Johnson also expressed frustration about his split with Rosado on the Oct. 27 episode of Nightcap. He told Sharpe that he was upset as he didn’t know how to fix things. Sharpe advised him to give it time and to stay offline, suggesting that if Rosado hadn’t explicitly told him not to contact her, there might still be hope for reconciliation, but Johnson claimed that he wasn’t responsible for the split.

“It wasn’t me,” he confessed, noting how he was upset with Rosado for bringing their private matter to the public.

“You didn’t have to be so public, and you might be watching,” he said to the camera, speaking directly to Rosado.

This isn’t the first time Johnson has faced accusations of infidelity. He was also alleged to have cheated during his engagement to Evelyn Lozada in the early 2010s.

This is a lot! What do you think? Can Johnson and Rosado come back from this?
