Ryan Reynolds Was Damaged 'Mentally, Physically, & Professionally' By Blake Lively Smear Campaign, Says Suit

Blake Lively wasn’t the only one hurting during Justin Baldoni‘s alleged smear campaign.

According to the in-depth lawsuit the actress filed against her It Ends With Us co-star, it wasn’t just her who was feeling traumatized and depressed — it affected her family just as much. That includes her kids AND husband Ryan Reynolds. The filing, which was made with the California Civil Rights Department and obtained by E! News, details how intense things got.

According to the Gossip Girl star’s lawsuit, her kids — James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and Olin — were “traumatized” by all the hate she received:

“Worst of all, however, has been the impact on their young children, who have been traumatized and emotionally uprooted in ways that have substantially impacted their well-being.”

All of this was because of Blake’s severe reaction to the public’s opinion of her:

“There are days when she has struggled to get out of bed, and she frequently chooses not to venture outside in public. While she has fought to maintain her personal life and business interests, behind closed doors she has suffered from grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety. She also has been experiencing repeated and painful physical symptoms as a result of this experience.”

So sad. The suit even went on to say RYAN was suffering himself — just from watching his family suffer:

“Mr. Reynolds, too, has been affected mentally, physically, and professionally by his wife and children’s pain.”

Mentally, physically, and professionally? Wow… It makes sense that mental trauma can become physical pain, but… What do they mean professionally? Because his reputation was also hurt? Inneresting… We have noticed a lot of hate directed his way lately…
