Sabrina Carpenter has won the Best Pop Solo Performance Grammy for her song “Espresso.” She beat out tracks by Beyoncé (“Bodyguard”), Billie Eilish (“Birds of a Feather”), Chappell Roan (“Good Luck, Babe!”), and Charli XCX (“Apple”). It’s the first Grammy handed out at the 2025 ceremony.
All five pop stars are in the running for numerous awards tonight, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year. While Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and Charli XCX have been nominated numerous times before, this is the first year that Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter have gotten any nods, tallying up six each.
Last year’s Best Pop Solo Performance award went to Miley Cyrus for “Flowers,” marking her first-ever Grammy win.
