Samsung’s boosted trade-ins bring Galaxy Watch 7 down to $35

4 weeks ago 2

Samsung is currently boosting trade-in values for certain existing Galaxy Watch models. Right now, it’s possible to get a brand new Galaxy Watch 7 for only $35 after trade-in.

The Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra are certainly Samsung’s best offerings, though they come at a heavy price. The Watch Ultra is the most expensive at $649, and it should be said that it often goes on sale. Those sales allow buyers to get it for a much more reasonable price.

Right now, Samsung is quietly offering a couple of deals on its website. An instant discount is applied to both the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Samsung automatically takes $145 off the Watch Ultra, while around $40 is taken off the Watch 7.

Where it really gets good is when you take a look at the trade-in values. Samsung has boosted its values beyond what they generally offer, which is abysmally low. Instead of giving you back $40 for your Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Samsung will currently give users $350, as long as you’re trading in for the Watch Ultra. The Galaxy Watch 7’s trade-in values are a little lower, though it still means the Watch 7 can be as low as $35.

Trading for Galaxy Watch UltraTrading for Galaxy Watch 7
Galaxy Watch 6 Classic$350$225
Galaxy Watch 5 Pro$350$225
Galaxy Watch 4 Classic$300$200

For users who still own a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, this would be a good time to turn it in for something new. Samsung is still supporting the Watch 4 Classic, even going so far as to offer beta versions of One UI, but support will likely come to an end in 2025.
