After her role as Cindy Campell, Anna Faris continued to take on a variety of comedic roles. Today, she is most well known for her leading characters in the 2008 chick flick House Bunny and CBS sitcom Mom, which ran for 8 years on television. Faris also entered voice acting. She's voiced characters in the animated movies Cloudy With a Chance of Meatball, The Emoji Movie, and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. She was married to Marvel actor Chris Pratt from 2009-2018, and is now married to Michael Barrett, who she worked with in the 2018 film Overboard.

Marlon Wayans not only starred in Scary Movie, but he was also the producer. After the first two movies, he continued his comedy career with his brother and co-star Shawn Wayans. They acted in a variety of movies together, including White Chicks. Wayans also created a variety of comedy shows and communities such as What the Funny, an online hub for urban comedy as well as the comedy competition show The Funniest Wins. The comedian is also known for partnering with various YouTube channels related to comedy. His most recent project is a role in Bel-Air, the dramatic Peacock reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Dave Sheridan has stayed true to his Officer Doofy roots, as his career is based around roles in both comedy and horror films. He played Sheriff Lincoln in a Walking Dead parody entitled The Walking Deceased. He also appeared in both A Haunted House and A Haunted House 2. These days, Sheridan keeps a lower profile, but his most recent project was released in June 2024. He plays Hank in the Apple TV+ fantasy movie Patsy Lee and the Keepers of the 5 Kingdoms.

Since Scary Movie, Jon Abrahams bounces between comedy and horror. Horror and thriller films he’s been in include House of Wax, Black Hearted Killer, Condemned, and most recently, Terrifier 3. Abrahams has also expanded his talent from acting to directing. He released All at Once in 2016, and he followed with Clover” in 2017 and Exploited, a gay slasher film, in 2022. Besides living a bi-coastal lifestyle in New York and Los Angeles, not much is reported on his personal life, but he still does events and press revolving around Scary Movie. For example, he attended the 2024 Halloween X-Spo in Spokane, Washington. He brought merchandise and participated in a screening of the film.

Ever since her iconic lingerie scene, Carmen Electra has continued to be a sex symbol in Hollywood. After Scary Movie, she appeared in more parody movies including reappearing in Scary Movie 4, Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Disaster Movie. Electra is multi-talented, as she is not only an actress, but also a dancer. Her skills allowed her to occasionally perform with the girl group, The Pussycat Dolls. She became a guest judge on shows such as So You Think You Can Dance and Britain’s Got Talent. Electra has been open with her sexuality and reputation and in 2022 started an OnlyFans account where she got to “be my own boss.” In her personal life, Electra is not married after various reported engagements, and in February 2024, the Los Angeles Superior Court granted her name change from Tara Leigh Patrick to officially become Carmen Electra.

Regina Hall has become an actress known for both her television and movie roles. On television, she’s appeared in Law & Order: Los Angeles. and Black Monday. She’s even parodied reality TV, appearing The Real Husbands of Hollywood and as a guest judge on The Gong Show. On the big screen, she’s become known for her romantic and romantic-comedy roles. Her biggest franchise is The Best Man, which premiered before Scary Movie, but its sequel The Best Man Holiday came out in 2013, and The Best Man: The Final Chapters wrapped the story as a limited series on Peacock in 2022. She’s also been praised for her performance with Kevin Hart in About Last Night, as well as her role in the Think Like a Man movies. Hall made history in 2018 when she became the first African-American to receive the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress for her performance in Support the Girls. Her next film, The Battle of Baktan Cross, is scheduled to come out in 2025.

Shannon Elizabeth went on to work in films and TV shows that would solidify her as a Hollywood sex symbol, especially in the thriller/horror genre. Outside of Scary Movie, she is most well known for her work in American Pie, as well as the horror movies Cursed, Thirteen Ghosts, Cursed, and Night of the Demons. Elizabeth also expanded herself beyond acting, becoming a competitive poker player. She’s competed in multiple tournaments including the 2005 World Series of Poker. Between 2006 and 2012, she would sometimes visit Las Vegas three times a month to practice and play. She hasn’t been as active since 2012 and is now dedicated to running non-profits and volunteering. She started an organization known as Animal Avengers that worked for South African conservation and branched off to help South African Women enter conservation studies. She’s also been a spokesperson for Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt a Turkey as well as the Poached Rhino fundraiser.

After Scary Movie, Cheri Oteri received roles in a variety of movies including Inspector Gadget and Liar Liar. She also took up voice acting and worked on projects such as the movie Shrek the Third and the Fox series Sit Down, Shut Up. She’ll voice in the movie Dog Man, which is set to release in 2025. Fans still highly associate Oteri with her Saturday Night Live tenure that predated Scary Movie. She regularly worked with Will Ferrell in popular skits, including the “Spartan Cheerleaders” and the “Morning Latte” talk show. Not much is known about her personal life, but she does have an active Instagram where she posts pictures of her dogs and latest comedy adventures.

He enhanced his horror movie reputation by appearing in films such as Freddy vs. Jason and The Predator, while also working in comedy and science fiction genres. He’s had roles in popular films including White Chicks and Tomorrowland. For television, he’s appeared in a variety of primetime and popular streaming shows, most notably CSI: Miami, NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, Supernatural, and Lucifer. Those who know him for his television acting associate him most with the series Riverdale, where he appeared as Hal Cooper, also known as Black Hood, for 41 episodes. He’s been married to his wife Sharon Munro for 27 years, and they have two children.

Shawn Wayans continued to work with his brother and Scary Movie co-star Marlon Wayans. Like his brother, he is recognized mostly now for the movie White Chicks, as he not only earned a star acting credit, but also a screenplay credit since he helped create the story. The Wayans brothers also teamed up for the 2006 film Little Man, and the eldest brother received acting, writing and producing credit. Shawn Wayans has not been recently active in Hollywood with his last film credit being the 2009 movie Dance Flick. His last television credit comes from a voice acting credit for a 2016 episode of Animals. He has two daughters: Laila, his oldest who was born before Scary Movie in 1999, and Illia, who was born in 2003.
