Sean "Diddy" Combs has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a personal trainer in a lawsuit filed on Sunday. The alleged victim, identified as John Doe, claims the music mogul, along with others, drugged and repeatedly assaulted him at an afterparty hosted at Combs’ Los Angeles mansion in June 2022.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the plaintiff detailed how he was introduced to Combs through a client who was a fashion designer, impressing Combs with his workout videos. The trainer was then invited to an exclusive afterparty at Combs' $40 million Holmby Hills estate, following Combs’ receipt of the lifetime achievement award at the 2022 BET Awards.
Upon arrival at the party, the trainer was asked to sign a nondisclosure agreement and was offered a tequila soda mixed with cranberry juice. The lawsuit claims that a business associate of Combs led the trainer into a smaller room, where he observed a group of individuals, including well-known celebrities, engaging in sexual activities.
The trainer began to feel disoriented and realized he had been drugged. According to the lawsuit, Combs allegedly initiated non-consensual sexual acts and directed the trainer to engage in further sexual acts with another celebrity, referred to as "Celebrity A." While slipping in and out of consciousness, the plaintiff alleges he was forced into sexual acts with multiple people.
The lawsuit also alleges that depressant drugs, such as gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB), were used during the party, with an image of a container purportedly used to administer the drug included in the filing.
Combs' legal team responded to the accusations, dismissing the lawsuit as a publicity stunt, stating, "Mr. Combs cannot respond to every publicity stunt or false claim. We have full confidence in the integrity of the judicial process, and in court, the truth will prevail."
Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the plaintiff, has filed multiple lawsuits against Combs, claiming to represent over 150 alleged victims. This includes a recent case from a woman alleging she was raped at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards afterparty when she was only 13 years old. Combs has pleaded not guilty to previous charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, with his trial set to begin in May 2025.
