Season 33 “Dancing With the Stars” alum Dwight Howard is engaged to “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Amy Luciani.
“I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye but here we are. Thank you for bringing me back to the word,” Luciani captioned an Instagram post on December 21. Luciana shared a video of Howard admiring her diamond ring. She shared additional photos and videos of the time the two have spent together.
“Anything I say or fuss about, first thing you say is ‘Did you pray about it?’ Then I realized I hadn’t being praying much lately at all. I’m just thankful, happy and ready for everything that’s coming our way. I prayed reallllll deep on a Thursday not knowing 2 days later God would send me a Bible totin, tattood giant with the same heart as me. Thank you,” she added.
Howard popped up in the comments section of the post, adding an infinity emoji, a red heart emoji and a lock and key emoji.

Dwight Howard & Amy Luciani Chose to Keep Their Relationship Private
Details about Howard and Luciani’s love story are relatively sparse, given that the two chose to keep their relationship private. Though the two had been spotted at events together, they didn’t speak publicly about their romance, nor were they Instagram official prior to their engagement.
On December 20, that all changed. Howard posted a photo with his bride-to-be with the caption “happy.”
His supportive DWTS partner commented on that post as well.
“There she is,” Karagach wrote, adding a crown emoji and three in love emoji.
Howard may be best known for his time on the basketball court, but he’s been dabbling in reality television a lot more lately. Outside of DWTS, Howard also appeared on season 1 of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”
