Season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fascinated viewers. The series followed a group of Mormon moms who are also influencers. They are the main breadwinners for their families, which deserves a shout-out. However, a “soft swinging” scandal, revealed by Taylor Frankie Paul, rocked the MomTok group. When the group came back together, Whitney Leavitt tried to take the MomTok reigns. However, her attempted power grab turned off most of the group. Eventually, Whitney left MomTok, and it seemed like there was no way for her to rejoin the group. Let’s put that drama aside for a moment, because Whitney and her husband, Conner Leavitt, have shared some wonderful news.
Whitney and Conner Leavitt announce the birth of their third child
Whitney and Conner welcomed their son on October 24, 2024, their rep told PEOPLE. The baby’s moniker is Billy Gene Leavitt. And Billy joins 4-year-old Sedona, his big sister, and his 2-year-old brother, Liam. “We are most excited about having our family complete. We’ve always wanted three kids and we’re so happy everyone’s here now,” Whitney said.
So, how did the couple land on the name Billy for their child? “We’ve always waited to name our children after meeting them, but with Billy, we fell in love with the name immediately – even before meeting him. We loved the gender neutrality in the name since we weren’t finding out the baby’s gender until delivery,” Whitney explained, “which we’ve never done before. The name allowed us to feel connected to the baby without knowing the gender,” she added.
Both Liam and Sedona were convinced that they were having a baby sister. “Upon meeting Billy, they were a bit surprised that they actually didn’t get to decide the baby’s gender. But, they’ve warmed up to him quickly and now all they want to do is hold their new baby brother,” the happy mom said. “I was very confident that I was having a boy because Billy’s pregnancy was so similar to my son, Liam’s, pregnancy,” Whitney added.
Of course, Whitney’s unique way of announcing her pregnancy was to place the actual pregnancy test inside a cake. Her family “definitely ate the cake,” but it’s all good since Whitney “Cloroxed the heck” out of the pregnancy test before adding it. Well, that makes me feel a bit better.
So, while Whitney has admitted that she doesn’t trust Taylor anymore, viewers are left wondering how Whitney can move forward with the MomTok group. Recently, the show was renewed for a second season.
Welcome to little Billy! And congratulations to Whitney, Conner, Sedona, and Liam!
