He also helped spawn the acting career of Will Smith with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Quincy has won 28 Grammys (tying with Beyoncé as the most-awarded living person at the time), with 80 nominations in total, and was also honored as a Grammy Legend. He produced Michael Jackson's history-making Thriller album which went on to earn eight Grammys in 1984, including Album of the Year.
