River Island shoppers say they 'need' a stylish and flattering denim smock dress that's wowed social media users. Available for £38, the Blue Denim Shirt Collar Mini Dress is trending on River Island's website. It's also proving popular on TikTok, thanks to a fashion-forward shopper who looked stunning in a try-on video shared on the platform.
Showcasing her favourite finds during a visit to River Island, popular TikTok creator @abibabex featured the denim dress in her video. "Come to River Island Fitting Room with me," she captioned the clip, which sees her try on several stylish looks.
Along with the denim dress, @abibabex tried on a range of flattering outfits, including a pair of blue denim jeans that she wore with a cropped coat, an oversized grey jumper she paired with the denim dress, and a co-ord.

While viewers loved all of the looks, with fans commenting "everything" and "you suit all of them", the smock dress was a particular favourite. @abibabex said: "No stop because this @RiverIsland denim smock dress is making me so excited." A viewer commented: "GET THE DENIM DRESS RN ABS. Beautiful girlllll." She replied: "BRB I gotta go get it! Even with the little UGG. it’s such a vibe."
The dress is available on River Island's website, with sizes 6-22 listed. However, some sizes are currently low in stock. As per the product details, the dress is machine washable up to 30°C on a gentle wash. However, it can't go in the tumble dryer or be dry cleaned.
Unfortunately, there are no reviews for shoppers keen to hear feedback before making a purchase, but you can make store returns free of charge. As River Island offers free standard delivery for orders over £50, a delivery fee will apply.
