Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus has some exciting news. Broadus is expecting her first baby with her longtime partner and fiancé, Wayne Deuce.
In a conversation with E! News published on Monday, December 23, Broadus, 25, revealed that the news took her by surprise.
"I found out Oct. 28," Broadus said. "This baby is so unplanned, but we are soooooo blessed."
Elsewhere in the conversation, Cori revealed that her father Snoop — whose real name is Calvin Broadus — and her mother Shante Broadus, are both over the moon with Cori's news.
"My mom and dad were so excited, their baby girl is having a baby," Cori said. "My dad was hoping for a grandson, though."
Cori also shared that pregnancy is "high risk," as she is living with Lupus. She was diagnosed with Lupus when she was six years old. Still, Cori remains hopeful and optimistic ahead of the baby's birth.
"God has his hands on me," and says "[she] and the baby are doing perfectly fine."
In the conversation, Cori detailed the type of mother she wants to be, and how she wants to instill confidence into her baby girl. She also noted how Deuce has been supportive throughout the journey.
"I'm just excited to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she's the prettiest in the world," Cori said. "Growing up, I wasn't the most confident and never felt like I fit in, so just to instill all the beautiful things in her head at a young age. And I'm having a mini me. Wayne said he's excited to have someone that looks like me. He knows she is going to be so beautiful and he just can't wait to build things for her and give her all the love in the world."
