Sosandar currently sells its clothing range through Next's website. The new licensing agreement will combine Next's sourcing and quality expertise with its design inspiration, the brand said.
The collection will carry a full set of living room furniture and accessories, including sofas, decorative chairs, rugs and lighting.
Sosandar added that the licensing agreement involves no capital expenditure for the company and serves as part of its brand awareness strategy with a focus on broadening its reach. The range, set to launch in autumn 2025, will be sold exclusively at Next.co.uk.
This year, Next has also signed licensing agreements for homeware with three other brands, Clarke & Clarke, French Connection and Rockett St George, which it acquired a 16% stake in.
Sosandar’s co-CEOs Ali Hall and Julie Lavington said in a joint statement: “This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage our brand equity and extend the success Sosandar has had through third party partnerships with little risk and no capital expenditure.
“We will combine Next’s specialist technical and sourcing skills with our design aesthetic and understanding of Sosandar customers to deliver an exciting and unique product range. Importantly, the homeware range will broaden our reach into new audiences and enable existing customers to deepen their affinity to our brand.”
