Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have been dealing with so much loss ever since losing their home in the Los Angeles wildfires last week, but finally, they have something good to celebrate.
On Sunday night, Spencer took to TikTok to thank fans for helping get his wife’s 2010 album Superficial to the top of the iTunes charts for the first time ever. Fans have been streaming her music as a way to help get them back on their feet after the loss of their Pacific Palisades property, and it’s resulted in massive success!

In an emotional vid, the reality star explained the significance of her music, sharing:
“We spent all of our money on this album. […] Every dollar we made from The Hills, we put into this album.”
Despite working with the best of the best in the music industry, the record only sold 1,000 copies when it was released on January 11, 2010. But now, 15 years later almost to the day, the album is topping the charts — surpassing hits like Wicked and Bad Bunny! Spencer exclaimed:
“For it to finally get No. 1 in America, 15 years after… Do you know how many times we’ve cried and how much regret we’ve had about spending all of our money and investing it and believing in Heidi’s music even though we knew it was so good?”
He then began sobbing as he became overwhelmed with emotion. Aw! See (below):

So sweet! He’s so proud!
On Saturday, Heidi also thanked listeners on her Instagram Story, gushing:
“Thank you so much to everyone. No. 1 on iTunes chart, oh my gosh. Thank you for the overwhelming love and support of my music and really rallying behind us in this devastating time and making it such a blessing.”
She continued:
“Thank you for helping support us, helping build us back up, helping to encourage us, give us that hope and faith and excitement in such a dark, dark time. No. 1, ahhh! Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it. And it’s the 15th anniversary of Superficial. So, the timing is just crazy. It’s so crazy, thank you…”
Now with the album doing so well and her single I’ll Do It at the top of the charts as well, fans have been rallying to get Pitbull on a remix — and he’s actually considering it! Spencer revealed on TikTok that due to the viral nature of the track, the hitmaker is thinking about helping to record a new version of it. That would be iconic!
