Spotify Wrapped 2024 sparks outrage as many users all spot same issue

Spotify Wrapped was released on Wednesday, with users sharing their results on social media, but some were left frustrated after experiencing a delay

Spotify's 2024 Wrapped playlist may have been released, but a slight delay for some users sparked major tantrums.

Music enthusiasts using the streaming platform expressed their annoyance on social media after seeing others post about their musical year in review, yet they couldn't locate their own Wrapped section within the app.

Spotify Wrapped offers a personalised journey into your last 12 months of music obsessions, unveiling trendy or tragic listening habits that people often share online.

"I hate that spotify makes me delete the app and then redownload EVERY YEAR just to see wrapped," one disgruntled user vented on Wednesday. Another furiously asked: "WHERE MY SPOTIFY WRAPPED."

"Where are you guys getting your spotify wrapped im so serious," queried another. While another quipped: "Me seeing other people have their Spotify wrapped and mine's not there," alongside a clip of a man flipping a coffee table. Elsewhere, someone else complained: "Just woke up and still no spotify wrapped."

To find your Wrapped, simply launch the Spotify app on your smartphone, and head to the Home tab, located at the bottom left of the screen. Wrapped should be visible at the top of your Home feed. If you're having trouble finding it, just click on this link to access your Spotify Wrapped directly.

Taylor Swift bagged the title of Spotify's 2024 Global Top Artist for the second consecutive year, while Beyonce didn't make it to any of the top ten lists this year. The Karma singer, 34, was crowned the streaming queen by the music behemoth, racking up over 26.6 billion streams worldwide.

This is the second year in a row that Taylor has taken the top spot. With more than 26.6 billion global streams, 2024 has been another record breaker for Taylor as fans flocked to her Taylor Swift | The Eras tour and streamed her latest album in historic fashion.

Earlier this year, Taylor released The Tortured Poets Department, a surprise double album that racked up records on Spotify. On April 19, it was the first album in Spotify history to have over 300 million streams in a single day, and it became the most-streamed album in a single day in 2024.

Additionally, the album broke another record on release day as “Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)” became the most-streamed song in a single day in Spotify history. And finally, on April 22, Taylor’s album became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single week.
