Stereophonics drummer Jamie Morrison was rushed to hospital just minutes before taking the stage at Nottingham's Rescue Rooms on Monday night.
His band, 86TVs, announced the news to fans, stating: "We had quite a dramatic day yesterday when, minutes before doors opened in Nottingham, Jamie was rushed into hospital. He is still in there and has been strongly advised by doctors to not attempt to do the shows this week."
The band expressed their heartbreak, saying, "We are all heartbroken about this – the shows on this run really have been our best ever – but obviously health comes first. Please send your love and get wells to one of the best to ever do it."
They apologised to fans who had made plans for the remaining shows, which were scheduled for Manchester, Bristol, London, Cambridge, and Leeds, with the tour set to conclude on December 1 reports the Mirror.
Jamie, 41, has been performing with 86TVs alongside members of The Maccabees, Hugo and Felix White, and their brother Will. Fans have been quick to send their support to Jamie, with comments flooding in such as: "Get well soon Jamie x."
Another fan reached out saying: "Oh no. Sending best wishes to Jamie for a speedy recovery and love to you all." An additional post read: "Oh my gosh! Terrible news - hope you get well soon."
And a fourth supporter expressed: "Get well soon Jamie health comes first! " Jamie has had an illustrious career, playing with bands like Noisettes and Drewford Alabama, and releasing music under his own label Ninjas and Wolves by the moniker Pop Morrison.

He became a member of Stereophonics in 2012 after leaving Noisettes and, in 2022, joined 86TVs who last year were signed to Parlophone Records. Jamie will be on tour with Stereophonics once again next year, as they've announced a major UK and Ireland summer tour.
This Stadium Anthems tour is set to begin in June and continue into July, featuring eight performances including one at Isle of Wight Festival.
After a three-year break, this marks Stereophonics' return to live performances, with gigs scheduled at Glasgow Bellahouston Park (part of Summer Sessions), Dublin St. Anne's Park, Cork Virgin Media Park, London Finsbury Park, and Huddersfield's John Smith's Stadium.
