Steve Lacy is hilarious.
During Drake‘s recent livestream with Canadian streamer xQc, the rapper requested that no rap music be played. The streamer obliged and began playing Lacy’s “Bad Habit.” As the song played in the background, Drake expressed, “This guy’s like a fragile opp, but it’s a good song though […] the chat knows what I’m talking about. Fragility.”
Lacy took to Instagram, trolling Drizzy. “WAITTTTTT LMAOOOO WHAT IN THE,” the Grammy-winning crooner wrote with a photo of him snapping. He then changed his profile picture to a smirk emoji, shared it on his feed, and wrote, “who tryna be my…fragile opp.”
Lacy also shared coverage of the diss with a screenshot in his Stories with Drake’s “I Get Lonely.” Fans couldn’t get enough of the singer’s reaction.
One commented, “Drake doesn’t know what he awakened lmaoooo.” Another teased, “Make that the title of your album.” Someone else addressed Drake and noted, “Bro responding to everyone except kdot.” Most of the comments were fans requesting that Lacy make a Drake diss track named “Fragile Opp.”
Drake’s shady sentiment comes just days after Kendrick Lamar dropped his surprise album, GNX, and he somewhat reacted to the new LP during the livestream.
“Me, I do music, in case you don’t know. I’m here. Fully intact, mind, body, and soul, in case you were wondering. You need facts to take me out,” said the Take Care artist. He continued, “Nothing makes me uncomfortable. I’ve worked too hard to be uncomfortable. Nothing phases me. Like I said, it takes only facts to fold me. Fairytales don’t work.”
