Stranger Things fans think they know what will happen in the final series after seeing the episode titles.
It's been over two years since the fourth season of Stranger Things landed on Netflix, so naturally, fans are super excited that the fifth and final season is on the horizon.
In a post shared on the official Stranger Things X account today (November 6), it was confirmed that the show would be returning next year - although fans still haven't been given a precise date.
They were provided with a list of episode titles, however. And let's just say viewers have been studying them meticulously, even coming up with wild and wonderful theories about what they could mean and what's in store.
The post read: "In the fall of 1987, one last adventure begins. Stranger Things 5 coming 2025."
The episodes are as follows:
- The Crawl
- The Vanishing of [blurred]
- The Turnbow Trap
- Sorcerer

After reading the episode titles, fans had a lot of thoughts and were specifically concerned by the second episode, 'The Vanishing of', with Netflix blurring the last part of the title.
Many fans took to social media begging to know who - or what - would be vanishing. Meanwhile, many had their own theories.
One wrote: "I love the suspense of hiding the vanishing of who," while another said: "The Vanishing of… Holly Wheeler… kinda silly they blurred it but whatever."
And a third added: "Tbh I’m very apprehensive about this holly vanishing plot. I really don’t like the idea of there being ANOTHER character to focus on in addition to the already huge cast and I honestly don’t care about what happens to her compared to everyone else."
Holly Wheeler is the younger sister of Mike and Nancy Wheeler, and has reportedly been recast with Nell Fisher for the final season.

The title also links back to the series premiere, 'The Vanishing of Will Byers', but many fans are adamant that the ep won't be about Will going missing again.
Others were quick to discuss the title of the final episode, with many claiming it to be 'perfect'.
One wrote: "Perfect title for the series finale episode!" while another said: "It feels like the perfect way to wrap up all the suspense and mystery that Stranger Things has built over the seasons."
And a third added: "'The Bridge' and 'The Rightside Up', damn, that is interesting. And what an awesome choice for the last chapter's title.
"It seems the 'inter-dimensional bridge' analogy for the idea of the Upside Down possibly replacing the Hellscape and existing between the Right Side Up and Dimension X will be used in the show after all."
