‘Stranger Things’ Returns in 2025: The Coolest Show-Inspired Merch to Hold You Over Until Season 5

Spoiler alert: The Upside Down is officially returning in 2025. Netflix dropped a new teaser for Stranger Things and revealed that the fifth and final season will contain eight episodes.

The episode titles are “The Crawl,” “The Vanishing of _____,” “The Turnbow Trap,” “Sorcerer,” “Shock Jock,” “Escape From Camazotz,” “The Bridge” and “The Rightside Up.” The streamer released the details on Nov. 6, also known as Stranger Things Day — the date in the record-breaking horror series that Will Byers (played by Noah Schnapp) disappeared from Hawkins, Indiana in 1986.

In a teaser video released this summer, Netflix gave superfans a behind-the-scenes look at the latest cast and sets. Maya Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley, recently told Podcrushed that the final season’s eight episodes will be “very long” and will feel like “eight movies.”

Fans can spend the night at Byers House Airbnb, the Georgia property that played the Byers family’s on-screen abode. (You can also own a piece of TV history through its crowdfunding campaign with real estate investment platform Arrived.)

An original prequel play, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, is onstage at the Phoenix Theatre at London’s West End through 2025. The live production is set in 1959 when the Creel family moves to Hawkins, Indiana. Per Netflix’s Tudum blog, the live production “serves as an origin story for the TV series … tying together then, now and the future of Hawkins.”

Created by filmmaker brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, Stranger Things stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Natalie Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Jamie Campbell Bower, Priah Ferguson, Eduardo Franco and more.

Set in the 1980s, the series was rife with merch opportunities when it premiered in 2016. From classic toys and vintage mall brands to nostalgic chart-toppers, every scene feeds viewers’ nostalgia — or making what’s old new again for younger fans. When season four debuted in 2022, the Stranger Things merch mania included ’80s-inspired collections from Vans, JanSport (sold out, but available on eBay), Quiksilver, Casetify, MAC Cosmetics, Timex and Lokai. A limited-edition Dungeons & Dragons set quickly sold out, but you can still shop sealed and pre-owned options at eBay and Amazon.

Southern California-based labels Quiksilver and Stance rolled out Stranger Things collections for season four, including a wardrobe capsule of pieces worn by characters in the show and retro apparel inspired by archive designs. Fans can also stock up on official show gear at Netflix’s online store, Box Lunch, Hot Topic, Target, Walmart, Kohl’s, Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters.

An official Stranger Things store in Las Vegas lets visitors further immerse themselves into the show’s world. The Netflix series previously hosted immersive pop-up retail spaces in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas and Paris; and the escape room-style Stranger Things Experience that featured food, photo opps, live performances and more in San Francisco, London, Atlanta and beyond.
