Ahead of Stranger Things‘ fifth and final season, show fans can own a piece of the Byer family’s iconic house — and earn some cash when fellow fans spend the night in the Upside Down-infested residence.
A crowdfunded campaign through Arrived launched today and allows lovers of the hit Netflix sci-fi horror series to contribute a maximum of $100 for shares of “the fan-driven project.” The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home — located on six acres in Fayetteville, Ga. — is listed on the real estate investment platform for $1.175M and is available as an Airbnb rental for $799 per night for up to six people.

Per the Airbnb listing, the 1900-built Byers House “is not affiliated with Netflix. However, we are dedicated to honoring the spirit of the show.” Located about 20 minutes from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport and 10 minutes from Trilith Studios, the 1,846-square-foot house sits on six acres took over a year for fans and professional set decorators to painstakingly decorate “every VHS tape, vinyl record, board game, and trinket for you.” (Redfin notes that the house last sold on Nov. 10, 2022, for $400,000.)
The period-appropriate stay features technology both old and new, from midcentury-modern lamps and CRT televisions to a modern washer/dryer and a 75-inch Samsung Frame TV for binging all four seasons of Stranger Things. Guests can play Dungeons & Dragons in the bunk bed room, listen to Joy Division on vinyl or play Amiga 500 games in Jonathan Byers’ room and ride BMX bikes around the plot, among other amenities. Of course, the living room is finished with an interactive Christmas light alphabet wall for communicating with those in the Upside Down.

Stranger Things is set to return for its last season after premiering on Netflix on July 15, 2016. Created by filmmaker brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, the show stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Natalie Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Jamie Campbell Bower, Priah Ferguson and more.
Set in the 1980s, Stranger Things was rife with merch opportunities since it debuted seven years ago. From classic toys and vintage mall brands to nostalgic chart-toppers, every scene feeds viewers’ nostalgia — or makes what’s old new again for younger fans. For season four, the merch mania included ’80s-inspired collections from Vans, JanSport (sold out, but available on eBay), Quiksilver, Casetify, MAC Cosmetics, Timex and Lokai. A limited-edition Dungeons & Dragons set quickly sold out, but you can still shop sealed and pre-owned options at eBay and Amazon.
Fans can get their fix of the show IRL in London’s West End, where the original prequel play, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, is currently onstage at the Pheonix Theatre through 2025. The live production is set in 1959 when the Creel family moves to Hawkins, Indiana. Per Netflix’s Tudum blog, the live production “serves as an origin story for the TV series … tying together then, now and the future of Hawkins.”
