Strictly Come Dancing star shows off hidden talent in backstage video

A Strictly Come Dancing professional has proven they've got more than just moves as they showcased their hidden talent in behind-the-scenes footage from the iconic Blackpool Tower

The professionals on Strictly Come Dancing have been delivering some breathtaking group performances each weekend, however, one dancer has shown he's got a hidden talent, which delightfully emerged in backstage footage from the popular BBC show.

The Strictly cast had a fantastic time in Blackpool last weekend (16 November) as they danced in the iconic tower and on its 'bouncy' floor. The stars have since been sharing touching moments from their seaside trip, with one unexpected moment captured by pro dancer Jowita Przystał, who is partnered with Pete Wicks. On Instagram, Jowita shared a 'sea' of Blackpool highlights, including a video from behind the scenes in the Blackpool Tower, which showed fellow professional dancer Carlos Gu singing a song to the audience.

Entertaining the crowd, Carlos struts his stuff around the room while singing the hit I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. As he showcases his hidden talent and works the room, Carlos makes his way to X Factor star and presenter Fleur East, who was sitting in the audience and joins in on belting out the ballad. Carlos certainly kept the audience entertained with his rendition of the 70s hit as the Strictly backstage crew were busy setting the scene for the next part of the show, reports OK!

Carlos also shared an upbeat video from his singing performance on Strictly and penned: "I don't know if I sang well! BUT I had time of my life! You legend @fleureast. I love you the live Audience!" As the new kid on the ballroom block, Carlos, who only sashayed into Strictly last year, is already stealing hearts left, right and centre. He got everyone chuckling with his Halloween antics when he donned Claudia Winkleman's iconic fringe and took up presenting duties in a spoof that had viewers rolling on the floor laughing.

Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their delight as one fan said: "He may not have won the glitterball, but he WON Halloween." Another viewer wrote: "Carlos dressing up as Claudia this year has me howling."

A third chimed in with: "Carlos dressed as Claudia is amazing!", while someone else remarked: "There are two Claudia's, I had to take two." Another was puzzled: "Who's that other 'Claudia'?" Following the exits of veterans like Oti Mabuse and Aljaz Skorjanec, Carlos joined the Strictly family. Expressing his excitement at the time, he said: "It's a new chapter of my life and a new challenge as well. I'm absolutely ready to take on this journey and to shine."

Carlos has swiftly become mates with his fellow pro dancers, such as Nancy Xu, Dianne Buswell, Amy Dowden, Johannes Radebe, and Katya Jones. After he expressed gratitude to his fans on Instagram for backing him on this new journey, Katya responded with a burst of enthusiasm: "We love you Carlos! ! ! ! ! ! ! You are such a beautiful person and a phenomenal dancer! I can't wait for everyone to see it! ".
