Strictly: Joe Sugg and his parents party with professional dancers

Strictly Come Dancing came to an end on Saturday night in the most epic way - with a giant party.

Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland were crowned the winners of the show's 20th season, with the entire cast celebrating into the night. Lucky for fans, Dianne's boyfriend, Joe Sugg, captured some behind-the-scenes snaps from the celebrations. Sharing the clips on his YouTube channel, there was a lighthearted competition between Aljaz Skorjanec and Dianne's dad, Mark Buswell, who could be seen comparing their Glitter Ball necklaces.

"Pops and I", Aljaz said excitedly when Joe pointed out the pair were wearing similar necklaces. "Yours is a bit more modern than mine," Mark pointed out to a confused Aljaz who quickly realised it was because of the chain the glitter ball was attached to. "Yours is better", he told his co-star, while Joe pointed out Aljaz's was on a chain and Mark's on a shoelace.

Meanwhile, hiding in the stairwell was Vito Coppola, who, clearly hungry after another impressive season, coming runner-up with his partner, Sarah Hadland, was caught indulging in some well-earned Domino's pizza, chips, donuts, and not one but two cans of fizz.

It's likely the dancer was happy to rest after the dancing for the night, which carried on into the epic afterparty. But while Dianne and Chris were the star's of the season, it was fellow professional dancer Carlos Gu who stole the show at the afterparty as he could be seen sharing a dance with judge, Shirley Ballas. "Why do you never spin me like that?" Joe joked with the dancer who quipped back that he never asked to be.

There was plenty of dancing happening at the after party

Dianne's celebrations didn't end at the show either. Upon arriving home, she was greeted with an extravagant display organised by Joe and set up by his sister and brother-in-law, Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes, as well as their two children, Ottilie and Novie. Thanking them for setting up the display, Joe joked that they "took a gamble" by organising it earlier that day but were "pretty confident" Dianne and Chris would win.

It included a 2024 winner banner hanging between the staircases of their lavish home, fairy lights, and countless silver and white balloons blown up and scattered across the floor. The set-up didn't end there either, and later in the vlog, the YouTuber showed fans his and Dianne's bedroom, where he was excited to discover the surprises had continued.

Flipping the camera to show a Strictly banner hanging above their bed, a large bouquet of flowers at the end of their bed, and some handmade cards from Joe and Dianne's three-year-old niece, Ottilie, the Youtuber chuckled as he said he had no idea about the extra decorations and said they would have to get the drawing of "Aunty Dot winning the Glitter Ball" framed.

Calling Dianne up, he filmed her sweet reaction as she saw the surprise, exclaiming, "That's so cute!" and she tightly held her trophy close to her chest. Zooming in on the banner, Joe took aim at the "L," which was messily drawn in, and joked that he thought it might have been done by Alfie.

There were multiple glitter balls floating around after the show

Dianne and Chris' win marked the first time the professional dancer has won the show. It came after she reached the final with EastEnders star Bobby Brazier, 20, last year. Unfortunately, the pair ultimately lost to Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola. Dianne and Chris won against Tasha Ghouri, JB Gill, and Sarah Hadland in the season finale.
