Adam Peaty has sparked concern among fans by sharing a photo of his son with what appears to be a black eye.
The triple Olympic champion and former Strictly Come Dancing star shared a series of snaps showing his son George, who he shares with ex partner Eirianedd Munro. They split in August 2022 and Adam, 29, is now engaged to Gordon Ramsay 's daughter Holly.
In his sweet post, he shared a tribute to his four-year-old child, expressing how "proud" he is of the toddler. Adam wrote: "Everything flowing. George is starting to really express his character and I’m loving the boy he’s becoming; I’m so proud of him. (He won’t pick a sport for a long time yet though!)"
The Olympic swimmer explained he'd been in Saudi Arabia delivering clinics for his new swimming academy, adding he only arrived back in the UK yesterday morning. He continued: "I’m also very privileged to be announced as one of GQ Men of the Year 2024 Honouree. Not much time to breathe at the moment but I prefer momentum anyway."
He added a biblical quote in, which read: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." Some of Adam's followers expressed their concern for George's graze, with one asking: "What has he done to his face?" and another saying: "Awwwwhats happened to his face?" Adam swiftly replied: "He fell off his bike." Others loved the update of little George, with one saying: "Now there’s a typical boy!" Someone else commented: "A few bumps and bruises are the sign of a good childhood."
The former Strictly dancer announced he had proposed to his partner of just over a year in September. Holly Ramsay, 24, is the daughter of formidable celebrity chef Gordon, but that didn't put Adam off proposing to his girlfriend with a massive yellow diamond ring.
Adam gave fans the lowdown on the ring, which he stgarted designing in December last year, just a few months after they got together in June. Adam and Holly shared their engagement news via Instagram in September - with 57-year-old Gordon giving his approval in the comments of the post his daughter shared.
Posting about his proposal on Instagram, Adam wrote: "I can’t believe you’re going to be my wife. I’m truly the luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman by my side. You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace.
"You have been with me when I’ve been at my lowest and helped me understand myself to navigate my own darkness. You have also celebrated the highs which have been so many, as for the first time in my life, I’m happy with the man I’ve become. You came to church with me and joined the incredible community we have there without a question.
"Your family have always treated me so generously with their time, emotion and trust. I can’t wait to be joined with them too. I’ve always believed that when two people are engaged and later married that we are no longer two people but we join as one and it’s the biggest privilege to share that with you."
