Lorraine: Strictly fans give opinion on Wynne Evans leaving tour
Wynne Evans is reportedly seeking legal advice after he was axed from the Strictly Live arena tour following a crude comment.
According to a source via The Sun, the opera singer is seeking legal advice from a law firm. This comes after the 53-year-old confirmed he was stepping down from the tour after facing scrutiny for his inappropriate remarks.
Wynne apologised after he was caught on camera making an offensive "spit roast" joke at tour host Janette Manrara, a reference to a vulgar sexual act.
In his statement, the TV star said: “I've agreed with the BBC that I'll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.
"I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection.”

However, since his departure, an insider close to Wynne claimed: “He’s been in a bad way all week and his brother and partner have looked after him.
“He’s appointed an expensive law firm to take advice on potentially losing his jobs.”
This comes just days after it was reported that Wynne had hired a crisis PR expert in a bid to save his career after facing widespread backlash.
A spokesperson for the BBC has declined to comment. Express Online has contacted Wynne's representative for comment.

It's been said he's secured the professional services of the same crisis PR expert brought in by former Strictly celebrity Graziano Di Prima.
The professional dancer faced dismissal due to maltreatment allegations involving his dance partner Zara McDermott.
According to MailOnline, PR guru Mark Borkowski recommended that Graziano maintain a low profile and safeguard his mental well-being, an approach that may be equally applicable to Wynne.
As well as stepping away from Strictly and his BBC Radio show, Wynne’s renowned role as the moustachioed Gio Compario in the Go Compare adverts remains in the balance after company chiefs are said to be in "crisis talks" about his future within the company.
A source via The Sun claimed: "His deal with them hangs by a thread. Wynne is so popular with viewers, so it will be a very difficult decision, but the feeling is it's challenging to retain him.”
