Supermodel Gisele pregnant at 44 with jiu-jitsu trainer's baby

Gisele Bündchen is pregnant and expecting her first child with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. The 44-year-old supermodel has been dating Valente, 35, since June 2023, shortly after her divorce from NFL legend Tom Brady, 47. This will be Bündchen’s third child and Valente’s first. According to reports, she is currently five to six months along.

A source close to the couple told People: “Gisele and Joaquim are excited to begin this new chapter together and are committed to creating a peaceful, loving environment for their family.” Bündchen was spotted on October 23 wearing a loose sweater that concealed her stomach, with a handbag strategically placed in front of her slight baby bump. Additionally, she did not participate in the October 15th Victoria’s Secret fashion show, despite being one of the brand’s most iconic Angels.

The supermodel shares two children—son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11—with Tom Brady. This pregnancy comes two years after the end of her 13-year marriage to the NFL star. Valente, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu pro, co-owns a jiu-jitsu studio in Miami with his brothers, Pedro and Gui Valente. He and Bündchen first met in December 2021 when she enrolled her son in jiu-jitsu lessons, eventually deciding to join the classes herself. The couple reportedly plans to wait until the baby’s birth to find out the gender, adding an element of surprise to this exciting new chapter in their lives.
