Fittingly, these elements also double as the cardinal rules of festive celebrations, a concept that has just been immortalised in the Swiss luxuriate’s 2024 holiday campaign.
Starring newly-appointed global brand ambassador Ariana Grande, the pop supernova and actress cordially invites you into the ‘Party of Dreams’. Like how Grande will soon take fans somewhere over the rainbow as Glinda the Good Witch in the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked, Swarovski has transported viewers into their dazzling universe with a surrealist video illuminated by the brand’s signature colours and codes.
Evoking the essence of cabaret theatres, vintage nightclubs and the roaring spirit of bygone revelries from the 1950s and 60s, Grande channels her inner performer by dancing through the lounge to the tune of clinking glasses, shimmering jewels and a big swing band.
Her audience is the radiant pieces from the iconic Millenia and elegant Matrix Crash families. These styles adorn her wrists over glamorous opera gloves, neck under her classic blonde high-pony and twinkling little black dress for the campaign, but will still be lining the stores of your nearest powder-blue Swarovski boutique.
Speaking of the shoot, Grande remarked that “celebrating at the Party of Dreams, surrounded by the coolest, most glamorous guests decked in Swarovski jewels, was an unforgettable experience.”
“I love how the campaign captures the festive spirit, and the film’s dynamic music video style brings it all together,” she added. “The energy on set was contagious – we had so much fun dancing that no one wanted to go home! It’s great to bring some joy and sparkle this Holiday Season, and I’m thrilled to continue this journey with Swarovski.”
