Taylor Swift knows how to make her fans feel special.
The "Fortnight" singer had already made a young fan named Naya's day when she visited her at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri the day before celebrating her own 35th birthday. Naya then took to TikTok on Sunday, December 22 to reveal the sweet thanks she got for calling the superstar's outfit "tea."
"She is soo amazing im soo blessedđ„ș, i love you Tay Swizzle you're literally the Bestđđ," Naya wrote alongside a video that showed her opening presents from Swift. They came with a handwritten note that read, "When you asked where I got it, I purposely didn't tell you because I had a plan :) Picked you up a few things I hope you'll think are tea. Ha....Merry Christmas! Love, Taylor â€ïž."
The reference is to an earlier video Naya had posted from the Grammy winner's hospital visit. In the clip, Swift can be seen signing an Eras Tour book for Naya while sporting a navy blue plaid two-piece ensemble. "And thank you for saying my outfit was tea," Swift says, adding, "You made my day with that!"
Naya's gifts turned out to be the same tartan look that Swift had worn when she visited the hospital on December 12. The $4,500 set from Miu Miu included a $2,250 pleated miniskirt and a $2,250 button-down top.
During that same visit, the "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" singer also had a funny moment with another fan who asked her about Brock Purdy, the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers (who played her boyfriend Travis Kelce in Super Bowl LVIII).
"I don't mind Brock Purdy," a taken-aback Swift diplomatically answered, adding, "He put me through a lot last February, so I was very stressed for a second. It all ended up fine." It ended well, because the Kansas City Chiefs â Kelce's team â took home the win and the Lombardi Trophy.
Fortunately, the conversation quickly turned to a player Swift could more emphatically support: her boyfriend. "I like Travis now," the young fan shared, to which the Eras Tour star excitedly responded, "Yes, me too! That's an absolute yes on that one."
When the little girl added that Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were her favorite players, Swift praised her, sharing, "Good answer. You are acing this!"
News of the special Christmas gift comes as fans wonder whether Swift will celebrate the holidays with Kelce, now that her record-breaking tour has concluded and she has more time. She was spotted sporting a similar fur coat to her tight end beau, 35, as she made her way to Arrowhead Stadium to support him at his game on Saturday.
