Taylor Swift's Rhode Island home becomes center of fierce dispute

Taylor Swift's Rhode Island home has become the center of a fierce dispute among Swifties on social media as they slam a fan who discovered the renovation as "creepy" for filming the 35-year-old's property, although it's unknown if she was there.

Swift owns at least four homes across the United States. Along with her Rhode Island property, she also has homes in Tennessee, New York City and Los Angeles and cohabits with Travis Kelce when she visits the Kansas City Chiefs player.

So the odds of stumbling across her when she's actually in her home is quite low, even before adding the more inaccessible nature of the properties, but fans will staunchly defend the 14-time Grammy winner all the same.

The latest episode comes via TikTok as @biggie.slime filmed her home in New England with construction ongoing, as fans pondered what it could actually be for. Theories included a recording booth for songs and podcasts, an Eras Tour museum and even jokes of a guest wing for them.

But not all were so enthusiastic of the footage, shot from the beach and looking up at the home which is on top of a small hill as they branded the user creepy for venturing that close to the billionaire's private property.

One user commented, "This is creepy. This is not a swift vibe."

A second agreed by saying, "this is so creepy."

And a third commented, "Hey this is a wild idea, one that probably haven't thought of... has it crossed your mind that maybe it's simply none of our business? Crazy right?"

Taylor Swift's stalkers

As a fairly young woman who is incredible popular and practically publicly accessible 24/7, Swift has had to deal with her fair share of stalkers throughout her life after the popstar reached the dizzying heights of superstardom.

A relatively recent example happened at her Eras Tour in Germany as local officers arrested a man in Gelsenkirchen for trying to enter her show at the Veltins Arena, reportedly on recommendation from event organizers.

He was said to have made threats against the star but no further details were added and Swift completed her shows in the city with no further issues. The sold-out venue saw 60,000 fans appear for three nights before she moved on around Europe.
