Ted Danson Says The Quaintest Thing After Sex, According To Mary Steenburgen

4 hours ago 3

Ted Danson has said “gosh-a-rooni” after sex, his wife revealed in a recent interview.

Maybe “jeepers” wasn’t old-timey enough?

We’re not sure how many times the “Cheers” alum has uttered “gosh-a-rooni” but thanks to longtime spouse Mary Steenburgen, we now know some of his quainter pillow talk.

Steenburgen revealed this sweet tidbit to People at the Golden Gala event where Danson was honored on Friday of last week.

The “Step Brothers” star, who celebrates her 30th wedding anniversary with Danson this year, talked about her preconceived notions of him before sparking a romance.

“I admired him so much as an actor, but I didn’t personally know him,” she said. “And I had this stupid idea that he was, like, maybe kind of a slick guy. How wrong I was. Slick guys don’t say, ‘gosh-a-rooni’ after making love.”

“I’d like to apologize to my granddaughters,” she added.

Steenburgen’s disclosure was still getting play in the media a week later.

Not surprisingly, Danson’s post-nooky exclamation didn’t make the top five things men say right after sex, according a survey.

Those would be:

  1. Wow!
  2. When can we do that again?
  3. I’ve got to go
  4. I needed that!
  5. Did you have an orgasm?
