TEEN Mom Jenelle Evans and David Eason's divorce case has been dismissed one year after she filed for separation in North Carolina court.

The U.S. Sun has exclusively obtained Jenelle's notice of voluntary dismissal of her divorce from bed and board.

According to the Rosen Law Firm in North Carolina, a divorce from bed and board is filed when one party believes the other spouse has committed a "marital fault," including "abandonment of the family," "treating a spouse in such a cruel or barbarous way that it endangers his or her life," or "adultery."

A person can also file for divorce from bed and board when they fear their estranged spouse will try to remove them from the family home.

This could be why Jenelle made the specific filing, as she once said of David: "Neither of us wanted to leave, so whenever I had the window of opportunity that I was able to file for separation, I filed something called separation by bed and board."

Meanwhile, her case against David for custody and child support for their 8-year-old daughter Ensley, as well as her request for an equitable division of assets, are all ongoing.

A court clerk told The U.S. Sun: " The divorce from bed and board was voluntarily dismissed in August.

"However the matter of child support, custody and equitable distribution is still open."

It not totally clear why Jenelle's divorce from bed and board was dismissed, but Jenelle did move out of the family's former North Carolina home last year, and officially relocated to Las Vegas.

David also appears to have permanently moved out of the home.

The estranged spouses are still separated and certainly do not appear to have reconciled.

The U.S. Sun has contacted Jenelle's and David's attorneys for comment.

Jenelle filed for legal separation from David on February 23, 2024.

Her filing at the time claimed she and David officially separated on February 16 "with the intent that the separation be permanent."

As The U.S. Sun previously reported, in Jenelle's claim to make her separation from David permanent, she said, "During the marriage of the parties, defendant's excessive use of alcohol was burdensome and rendered plaintiff's life intolerable."

She claimed David spent money he didn't earn himself, and could have benefitted "the financial well-being of the minor children."

Jenelle has two other children from past relationships: Jace, 16, and Kaiser, 10.

NIGHTMARE MARRIAGE

The former Teen Mom 2 star also alleged in his request for separation that David would insult and degrade her in front of the children and others.

She also accused him of "recklessly" spending her income, while "refusing to earn consistent income to contribute to the family."

She also blamed David for two of the times they temporarily lost custody of their children.

Jenelle first pointed to David killing the family dog, and then when he allegedly strangled Jace in an argument.

Jenelle was officially fired from MTV after the dog incident, and returned briefly last season.

Jenelle and David's relationship timeline

The tumultuous pair have had their fair share of falling outs

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September of 2015.

Jenelle got pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then she became pregnant again with her and David's daughter, Ensley, a few months later.

The pair got engaged in February 2017 and tied the knot that September.

A year after saying “I do,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside their home. She would later call the incident “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was "fine."

In around May 2019, David shot and killed their French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle's son, Kaiser, and David's daughter, Maryssa.

When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She ultimately dropped the case and went back to him.

In the following years, the couple sparked split rumors as the pair would often unfollow each other on social media and update their Facebook relationship statuses.

As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intent that the separation be permanent” and claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.

She also blamed David for tarnishing her image.

"Plaintiff has been a faithful and dutiful spouse to the defendant and has stuck by the defendant's side through the criticism of millions of people across the world on social media, who voiced concern regarding the defendant's behaviors," she wrote.

"Defendant's conduct has caused plaintiff employment compensation and degraded her public image."

She asked for primary physical custody of Ensely as well as child support.

Jenelle also asked for their property to be distributed "in the form of an unequal distribution of assets in the plaintiff's favor."

In her initial request, she also specified that she wants the court to rule for her to keep the maritial home they shared on what the former couple once called "The Land."

Soon after the separation, Jenelle moved with her children to Vegas, and soon began dating her manager Daniel Miranda, also known as August Keen.

Jenelle and August appear to have split in recent weeks.
