The Houston Texans experienced a harrowing situation when star wide receiver Tank Dell caught an epic touchdown pass in the team's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Following the catch, Dell was grasping his knee, leading to a cart being called out to transport him to an ambulance.
Dell was revealed to have suffered a dislocated knee, and he spent a few days at the hospital as a result of the injury. Now, the Texans have placed the young receiver on IR, ending his 2024 season.
Dell was having a solid second year in the NFL, posting 667 yards and three touchdowns. However, that second year has now been cut short.
This is the second injury that has kept Dell out of action in 2024. He experienced a chest injury early on that caused him to miss one game. Now, the significant knee injury will keep him sidelined through the rest of 2024 and also throughout the playoffs.
