I was obsessed with my now-long-gone bottle of Dauphinette’s first fragrance, but its second entry into the category—Poisonoud, a juicy, musky, sensual scent—might just be more interesting. Notes like deep oud, fresh hinoki, and zingy Iso E Super evoke skin contact with someone you’re really into; it’s intoxicating and deeply alluring. While I also love the dry-down, the opening burst of mandarin and fig leaf is my favorite stage.
