It can be confusing trying to keep up with the Duggars as the family continues to grow. Together, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar share a whopping 19 kids (20 if you count their adopted grand-nephew, Tyler), and an ever-growing number of grandchildren. As the children get older, they’re finding their own husbands and wives and welcoming new babies every year.

Among the three different generations, this family has more than four dozen members. That’s not even including all the non-immediate family members. Most recently, Jedidiah Duggar and his wife, Katey Duggar, added to the brood with the birth of twin daughters in January 2025.

It all started with Jim Bob and Michelle. The pair met as teenagers and got married shortly after.

They went on to welcome 19 children together, The oldest, Josh, is in his 30s, and the youngest, Josie, is just a teen. The oldest grandchild, Mackynzie, is actually 2 months older than their youngest daughter.

Jim Bob and Michelle welcomed Josh on March 3, 1988. He went on to marry Anna Keller in 2008 before welcoming seven children together.

Jana Duggar was born January 12, 1990, along with twin brother John-David Duggar. Jana is unmarried and does not have any children.

The couple’s fourth child, Jill Duggar (born May 17, 1991), married Derick Dillard in June 2014. She has had a rocky relationship with her family since leaving reality TV and even appeared in the Amazon Prime documentary Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets in June 2023.

The couple have three sons together, Israel, born in April 2015, Samuel, born in July 2017, and Frederick, born in July 2022.

Josiah Duggar (born August 28, 1996) is all-grown up and married Lauren Swanson in June 2018. The couple suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage before welcoming daughter Bella Milagro in November 2019. Their second daughter, Daisy, was born in March 2022 followed by a baby boy in May 2023.

Jedediah Duggar

Jed Duggar arrived on December 30, 1998 and married Katelyn Nakatsu in 2021. The couple welcomed their first child, son Truett, one year later. Baby No. 2, daughter Nora Kate, was born in May 2023. Jed and Katey welcomed babies No. 3 and 4 with the birth of twin daughters Elsie Kate and Emma Kate on January 8, 2025.

Jedidiah’s fraternal twin, Jeremiah Duggar, tied the knot with Hannah Wissmann in March 2022, just five months after announcing their courtship. Their daughter, Brynley Noelle, was born on Christmas Day 2022. In November 2023, the couple announced they were expecting again, with a little one due in 2024.
