Shortly after Pascal Ibgui decided to leave The Golden Bachelorette during his Fantasy Suite date, the fan-favorite spared no expense in going after one of Joan Vassos’ front-runners, Chock Chapple.

“Chock was all over her to the point where he was [like a] stalker,” Pascal told Glamour in October. “I mean, it was like, ‘I love you, let’s leave. Let’s do this, let’s do that.’ And, ‘Which side of the bed are you sleeping on?’ It’s bizarre behavior.”

Now, however, Pascal seems to be regretting his choice of words. On Instagram, the salon owner apologized to Chapple personally.

“I wanted to make this video because I want to thank Bachelor Nation, to include me in the first Golden Bachelorette season. What an incredible experience. I had the chance to meet some incredible gentlemen during the way,” Pascal said in the video. “But the most important is I want to apologize to Chock.”

“Me calling him a stalker was out of line, inappropriate, uncalled for, and definitely the wrong use of word,” he explained. “So please, Chock, accept my apology.”

As a reminder, Chock and Guy Gansert are the only two contestants left in the season, which comes to an end this Wednesday, Nov. 13.

“I will be tuning in on Wednesday to watch the reveal and I’m anxious to see who’s the winner,” Pascal continued. “I want to wish the two of you the best of luck.”

In the comments, fans are seen supporting Pascal, and even agreeing to his initial comments. “Not a Chock fan,” one commenter said. “He’s a love bomber and seems controlling. Eeek.”

“It takes a true man to apologize, especially on a public platform ❤️👏,” wrote another commenter.

As a reminder, fans of the show last saw Pascal in the Men Tell All episode last week. In it, Pascal and Joan reunited for the first time and shared sweet sentiments with one another. “It was very difficult for me to say goodbye,” Pascal said about their breakup. “I hope I didn’t hurt her… I just wasn’t able to give her what she was looking for at the time.”

“You were very kind,” Joan later told Pascal. “I just want the best for you. I want you to be happy.” Looks like everything’s water under the bridge now!
