'Tis the season for cosying up in a blanket, with a hot chocolate and putting on The Holiday.
Who can forget when Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz played two women - Iris and Amanda - who fall hopelessly in love after switching houses, cars, friends, and more, for an entire week.
Of course the beloved film also starred Jack Black and Jude Law. Jude's character Graham falls in love with Amanda, who lives in his sister's cottage home after a nasty breakup back in LA. Amanda questions why Graham keeps mentioning the names Olivia and Sophie, soon to realise he is a widowed dad-of-two.
The kids in the film steal the hearts of the audience with their sweet British accents and love for their dad - and who can forget about the hilarious Mr Napkin scene. But their shining moment was over 18 years ago now, meaning the girls will be all grown up.
The actress who played Sophie looks unrecognisable now - here's what she is up to now.
We all remember how cute sweet Sophie was in The Holiday. Now, Miffy Englefied who played her, is 25 years old and looks completely different. The Basingstoke-born actress' real name is actually Rebecca but got her nickname from her parents on account of her messy hair that was said to be always sticking up.
She joined stage school at age five and began auditioning for roles when she landed The Holiday at age six. She went on to star in a few TV dramas including Casualty, but confessed to The New York Times she then gave up acting as it was too difficult on her single father.
Miffy now has switched up her look and loves her dark eyeliner and hair, and loves wearing black. She now lives in West Sussex and welcomed a daughter named Frankie with partner Alex Whivley-Conway in 2020.
She now makes TikTok videos sharing life with a toddler, fashion, mocking how she used to look, and secrets on the set of The Holiday. Miffy says she gets asked about her role as Sophie all the time, and has been answering fans' questions.
Miffy's dad made her a scrapbook with memories from the film - from her audition emails to photographs and her boarding passes to America. Plus, he even kept the script - including one deleted scene.
Miffy explained that Amanda was meant to say that she couldn't have marshmallows with her drink as she was avoiding carbs so she wouldn't 'get fat', but the line was cut from the film.
Plus, there was a whole scene that was cut where Jude Law's character went to a café with his children. Miffy added: "Here is a whole deleted scene that we filmed in a cafe."
Speaking about the cast, she said: "The cast were amazing, like it sounds really cliché but there's not really much to tell because they were all so lovely. Obviously playing one of Jude Law's daughters in the film, he's the person that we spent the most time with and he was so kind and so patient and just so helpful and told us so so much about acting."
She described Jack Black as hilarious, Kate Winslet as ethereal, and Cameron Diaz as beautiful. Sadly, Sophie admits she didn't keep in touch with any of the cast due to everyone being so busy. However Nancy Meyers, who directed the film, emailed her a lot to check in after the film.
