Stranger Things is officially coming in 2025 — and the episode titles are finally here… kind of.

Netflix announced all eight titles of the show’s upcoming final episodes, with the exception of the second episode’s full title. In the video reveal posted to social media, the second part of the title “The Vanishing of” is blurred out — so, it’s unclear which character in Stranger Things has a disappearance in their future.

See all the episode titles below:

“The Crawl”
“The Vanishing of _______”
“The Turnbow Trap”
“Sorcerer”
“Shock Jock”
“Escape From Camazotz”
“The Bridge”
“The Rightside Up”

The show’s epsiodes are notoriously long, and it looks like the fifth and final season will be no exception. Previously, star Maya Hawke teased, “We’re making, basically, eight movies. The episodes are very long.”

The only other breadcrumb we get from the recent teaser is a tagline: “In the fall of 1987, one last adventure begins.”

Still, the confirmation of a 2025 premiere date is always nice to know, even though it was expected. Production on the fifth and final season finally began in January — and in March, star Millie Bobby Brown said they had another nine months of filming left to go, meaning fans likely shouldn’t expect Season 5 until roughly at least mid-2025.

Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer first announced that season 5 would be its last season ahead of the season 4 premiere in May 2022, taking to social media and shared a heartfelt note about the series.

“Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things,” The Duffer Brothers said. “At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four but — as you’ll see for yourselves — we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last.”

They continued, “With nine scripts, over eight-hundred pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one,” they wrote, noting that it was “the beginning of the end.”
