What a comeback..
The Weeknd has delivered a surprise performance at the Grammys 2025 as the CEO says they’ve made amends.
To the shock of many, The Weeknd took to the 67th annual Grammys ceremony stage in Los Angeles tonight in what appears to be a major comeback announcement.
Canadian rapper, Abel Tesfaye, known professionally as The Weeknd, has been boycotting the Grammys since 2021 as he said he'd been snubbed by the Recording Academy.

His 2020 track, 'Blinding Lights', smashed streaming records at the time, but was mysteriously left out of receiving any Grammy nominations that year.
Ever since, Tesfaye has refused to submit any of his songs for awards.
Grammys chief Harvey Mason Jr. welcomed the 34-year-old back to the stage tonight (Sunday, February 3) in an apparent reconciliation while talking about some of The Weeknd's long-held criticisms of the organization.
The CEO said amends have been made to patch up their relationship, adding: "Over the past few years, we’ve listened, acted, and changed.”
Fans of the artist have applauded the organization for taking accountability of the alleged snub - even going so far as to make a 'powerpoint' on everything The Weeknd has said about the Grammys over the years.
The 'Starboy' hitmaker sang two new songs from his recently-released album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, starting with 'Cry for Me' followed by 'Timeless' and a performance from Playboi Carti who features on the studio recording of the track.
Viewers also praised his performance, describing it as 'electrifying', 'epic' and 'straight up fire'.
More to follow.
